Care Chiropractic & Acupuncture offers veteran care chiropractic and acupuncture for veterans through the VA Community Care Network (CCN). If you've been referred by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), our office collaborates closely with you and the VA during your treatment journey. We assist in coordinating scheduling, communicate with the VA about your authorized visits, and request additional referrals when necessary.
The VA Community Care Network enables eligible veterans to access healthcare services, including options like acupuncture for veterans and veteran care chiropractic, from community providers outside the VA healthcare system when certain eligibility requirements are satisfied. Eligibility and authorization are determined by the VA, taking into account factors such as appointment availability, travel distance, and your specific healthcare needs.
Depending on your VA authorization, veteran care chiropractic services may include: chiropractic evaluations, onsite X-rays, chiropractic adjustments, needle and non-needle acupuncture, therapeutic exercises, cold level green violet laser treatment, home exercise instruction, and education on posture, movement, and injury prevention.
We commonly treat conditions such as back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, joint pain, shoulder pain, hip pain, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, and muscle tension and stiffness.
Through the community care network, your treatment plan is individualized based on your specific condition, examination findings, and VA authorization, including options for acupuncture for veterans.
Step 1: Schedule an Appointment With Your VA Primary Care Provider Discuss your symptoms with your VA Primary Care Provider (PCP) and inquire if acupuncture for veterans or chiropractic care through the VA Community Care Network is suitable for your condition. Step 2: Request Care at Our Office If you wish to receive veteran care chiropractic services at Care Chiropractic & Acupuncture, inform your provider when requesting your referral. Step 3: Wait for VA Authorization Upon approval, the VA will provide an authorization detailing the services and number of visits covered, ensuring you have access to necessary treatments. Step 4: Schedule Your Appointment Once your referral has been authorized, reach out to our office to schedule your first visit.
Our office has a dedicated VA Community Care Specialist who helps coordinate your care throughout the referral process, ensuring access to services like acupuncture for veterans and veteran care chiropractic.
We can assist with:
