Care for Eligible Veterans Through the VA Community Care Network
Care Chiropractic & Acupuncture provides chiropractic care and acupuncture for eligible veterans through the VA Community Care Network (CCN).
If you have been referred by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), our office works with you and the VA throughout your course of care. We help coordinate scheduling, communicate with the VA regarding your authorized visits, and request additional referrals when appropriate.
What Is VA Community Care?
The VA Community Care Network allows eligible veterans to receive healthcare services from community providers outside of the VA healthcare system when certain eligibility requirements are met.
Eligibility and authorization are determined by the VA and may depend on factors such as appointment availability, travel distance, or your individual healthcare needs.
Services We Provide for Veterans
Depending on your VA authorization, services may include:
- Chiropractic evaluations
- Onsite X-rays
- Chiropractic adjustments
- Needle and non-needle acupuncture
- Therapeutic exercises
- Cold level green violet laser
- Home exercise instruction
- Education on posture, movement, and injury prevention

How to Request a Referral
Step 1: Schedule an Appointment With Your VA Primary Care Provider
Discuss your symptoms with your VA Primary Care Provider (PCP) and ask whether chiropractic care or acupuncture through the VA Community Care Network is appropriate for your condition.
Step 2: Request Care at Our Office
If you would like to be seen at Care Chiropractic & Acupuncture, let your provider know when requesting your referral.
Step 3: Wait for VA Authorization
If approved, the VA will issue an authorization that outlines the services and number of visits covered.
Step 4: Schedule Your Appointment
Once your referral has been authorized, contact our office to schedule your first visit.
How We Help
Our office has a dedicated VA Community Care Specialist who helps coordinate your care throughout the referral process.
We can assist with:
- Confirming receipt of your referral
- Scheduling appointments
- Tracking authorized visits
- Communicating required documentation to the VA
- Requesting additional referrals when your authorization is nearing expiration, if continued care is recommended
